Think Big was asked to co-host the NIST’s Global City Teams Challenge on Smart Cities, to coordinate and analyze the conversations, and to compile the findings into a whitepaper on the new standards for smart city.

In a two-day program, with 118 hand-picked experts from around the world, Think Big and the City of Kansas City, MO facilitated a discussion centered around standardization and replication of measures for cities to better partner and create better policy when designing smart cities. The insights and analysis of notes resulted in a whitepaper, Designing A Smart City Data Platform to Unlock the Power of Civic Internet of Things Technologies.
