Top Offshore Sportsbooks is an independent comparison site covering offshore sportsbooks that accept US players. We exist for one reason: bettors in states with no legal online sportsbook, or bettors who've hit limits at regulated ones, need a clear-eyed read on which international operators are worth an account and which aren't. This page explains who we are, how we build our rankings, how we earn money, and what we will never tell you.

We are not a sportsbook. We don't accept wagers, hold deposits, or process withdrawals. We research operators, read their terms, track their payout reputations, and publish what we find.

Age and eligibility: our content is for adults 21 and over (18+ only where an operator's own minimum is 18 and local law permits). Betting carries a real risk of losing money. If gambling stops being entertainment, call 1-800-GAMBLER.

Where we stand on the legal question

We don't blur this. The sportsbooks we cover are licensed offshore — commonly in Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica — and they are not licensed or regulated by any US state gaming commission or board. Accepting US customers is not the same as being authorized to serve them.

For US bettors this sits in a legal grey area. Federal law has historically targeted operators rather than individual bettors, but state law varies enormously: some states run fully regulated online sportsbooks and racebooks under a state gaming commission, others permit retail betting only, and a few prohibit online wagering outright. Offshore sports betting legal status is a question you have to answer for your own state, not one we can answer for you. Check your state's statutes, and treat any tax or legal point on this site as general information — consult a qualified attorney or tax professional before acting on it.

What follows from that is blunt: no US state player protections apply. There are no segregated player funds, no state dispute-resolution body to appeal to, no guaranteed payouts. If an offshore sportsbook delays, voids, or refuses a withdrawal, your realistic options are the operator's own support team and public pressure. Offshore operators also frequently lack the responsible gambling and self-exclusion tooling that licensed US operators are required to provide. We flag that everywhere it's relevant, including on our responsible gambling resources page.

How we review offshore sportsbooks

We researched and verified every operator on the site against the same criteria. We do not claim to have deposited, wagered, or withdrawn money at these sites — our work is documentary research: terms and conditions, published banking pages, licensing statements, promotional rules, and the long-run public payout record of each brand. Where something is advertising rather than confirmed fact, we say so. Findings on this page were last reviewed Sep 24, 2026.

  1. Odds and pricing. How a sportsbook prices point spread, moneyline and totals markets, and whether it offers reduced juice or reduced vig on core lines. Over a season, pricing matters more than any welcome bonus.
  2. Market coverage. NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, soccer, golf and MMA depth, plus futures, prop bets, parlays, same-game parlays (SGP) and live/in-play betting.
  3. Payout speed and reliability. Stated processing windows, payout limits, withdrawal fees, and the operator's track record of paying. Advertised speeds are advertised, not tested.
  4. Banking. Cryptocurrency betting support, bank card deposits, bank wire, money transfer and voucher/player transfer options, plus KYC and verification demands.
  5. Bonuses. We never publish a headline figure without the rollover, minimum odds, time limit and eligibility conditions attached.
  6. Reputation, security and support. Site security, complaint history, and how reachable customer support actually is.
  7. Betting apps and mobile. Whether there's a native app or a mobile browser experience, and how usable it is on a phone.

How we make money

Top Offshore Sportsbooks earns commission when a reader opens an account through one of our links. That's how the site stays free to read. Commercial relationships do not decide rankings, and no operator can buy a position or a better editorial rating. Our ratings are editorial scores from our own scoring model — they are not customer review scores, and they are not a prediction that you'll be paid promptly or win money.

Bonus terms, banking options and limits change without notice. Always read the operator's current terms before depositing.

What our ratings look like in practice

Three examples of how the criteria play out at the top of our list. Every welcome offer below is subject to the operator's own rollover, minimum odds, minimum deposit, time limit and eligibility rules — figures alone tell you very little.

Lucky Rebel — rated 10.0

Our highest-rated offshore sportsbook, and it sits there because it combines a broad sports menu with a headline welcome package aimed squarely at new accounts: 125% up to $1,250 plus a 50 FreeBet. As with all offshore welcome bonuses, the money is not free — you must deposit and clear wagering requirements at the operator's stated minimum odds and inside its time limit before any of it becomes withdrawable. The limitation: as a newer name relative to the long-established offshore brands, Lucky Rebel has a shorter public payout track record, which is exactly the evidence that matters most when there's no US regulator behind the account. Treat early withdrawals as your own test, and start small.

Bovada — rated 9.9

Bovada is on this page for longevity. It's one of the most recognized offshore sportsbooks among US bettors, with deep NFL, NBA and MLB coverage, live betting, props and a racebook alongside the main sportsbook. Its welcome bonus of 50% up to $250 is modest by offshore standards, which is arguably a point in its favor — smaller bonuses usually come with lighter rollover burdens, though you still need to confirm the current rollover multiple, minimum odds and expiry before opting in. The limitation: Bovada is not available to residents of every US state, and its published account restrictions are worth reading before you register rather than after.

BetOnline — rated 9.9

BetOnline earns its place on pricing and market breadth rather than on bonus size. It's a long-running operator with wide coverage across soccer, golf, MMA and the major US leagues, extensive prop and futures markets, and a strong crypto banking menu — which is the relevant detail for bettors who care about payout speed. The welcome offer is $250 in free bets, again subject to qualifying deposit, rollover, minimum odds and time limits. The limitation: free-bet style offers typically exclude the stake from any return, and crypto withdrawals expose you to price volatility between the moment you're paid and the moment you convert to dollars.

MyBookie8.9100% up to $1,000, new players

Every offer above requires a qualifying deposit and carries rollover, minimum-odds, time-limit and eligibility conditions set by the operator. A larger headline number usually means a heavier wagering requirement, not more value.

The money side we always explain

Taking part costs whatever you deposit — there is no free entry, and a bonus percentage is applied to your own money. Offshore sportsbooks that accept US players typically support some combination of cryptocurrency, bank card deposits, bank wire, money transfer services and voucher or player-transfer options. Availability for American customers varies by operator and sometimes by state, so verify on the cashier page rather than assuming.

  • Crypto — usually the fastest payout route and often the only one with no operator fee, but you carry exchange-rate risk and the value of a payout can move before you cash out.
  • Bank card — common for deposits, rarely available for withdrawals. US card issuers decline gambling-coded transactions fairly often.
  • Bank wire — higher payout limits, slower, and frequently carries a fee at both ends.
  • Money transfer and vouchers — useful fallbacks with lower caps and their own charges.

Check three numbers before your first deposit: the minimum and maximum withdrawal, how many free withdrawals you get per month, and what KYC documents are required. Lighter KYC is a selling point offshore, but verification is usually triggered at the first sizable withdrawal, not at signup — so expect it eventually.

What's on offer beyond the sportsbook

Most of the operators we cover run more than a sportsbook. Racebooks handle horse racing with pari-mutuel or fixed pricing and their own rules on scratches and refunds. Online casino sections — slots, table games and live dealer rooms — sit on a separate wallet at some operators and carry entirely different bonus terms, as BetUS's split sports/casino offer shows. Poker rooms and esports markets appear at several. These are separate products with separate rollover rules; a sportsbook bonus rarely clears on casino play, and mixing the two is the most common way bettors accidentally void an offer. Our publisher also maintains casino coverage elsewhere, including sites outside the UK's self-exclusion scheme, which is a different market with different rules.

Betting tips, and what we won't claim

Where we publish betting tips or analysis, they are opinions about value — never "locks," never guarantees. No sportsbook, strategy, or tipster makes betting a reliable income, and reduced juice improves your math without making you a winner. We won't tell you a site is completely safe, we won't promise a withdrawal, and we won't suggest betting as a way to fix a financial problem or a bad day.

Bet only what you can afford to lose, never chase losses, and set deposit and time limits before you start. Offshore sportsbooks may not offer the self-exclusion and cool-off tools you'd find at a state-regulated operator, so those limits often have to be self-imposed.
