“Think Big Partners plans to plant the seeds of entrepreneurial thinking in Kansas City-area kids.
The Kansas City-based incubator is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City to offer a program that aims to develop an innovative, enterprising mindset in youth from disadvantaged circumstances. Starting Feb. 5, “Entrepreneurship Has No Boundaries,” a three-day, collaborative program, will examine product ideation, financing, marketing, and social and sustainable entrepreneurship.
“These kids don’t think they have possibilities beyond the borders of their neighborhoods, and that’s what really touched us,” said Sarah Snyder, partner and director of co-working at Think Big. “We do this with entrepreneurs to help them think big and dream big knowing that their dreams are something that can become reality. Why can’t we do this with at-risk youth and make it even more impactful?” “
